GREEN LAND INTER SCHOOL ENGLISH DECLAMATION CONTEST HELD AT SH. RAM LABHAYA RUDHRA AUDITORIUM, JALLANDHAR BYE PASS, Ldh.

The Chain of Green Land Schools organized an English Declamation Contest today, in Sh. Ram Labhaya Rudhra Auditorium at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Jallandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, in which, students of classes VI to XII participated with great enthusiasm . A floral welcome was given to the Chairman cum Director of the Chain of Green Land schools, Sh. Rajesh Rudhra , President Sh. Shabad Rudhra, and Mrs. Vijayata Rudhra by the Principal of the school. As many as 20 students participated in two categories - Category-I was for classes VI to VIII and Category –II was for classes IX to XII. The students declaimed their views eloquently on the topics – Once you choose hope anything is possible, Where wealth accumulates human virtues decay, Health isn’t a goal it’s a way of living, The earth is not dying it is being killed, The first step towards greatness is to be honest, Only a dead fish goes with the flow, True wealth is not tied to the string of the purse but rather to the strings of heart, Success is a ladder you cannot climb with your hands in pockets, If you don’t risk anything, you risk even more, Woman- no more a weaker sex. The function started with Ganesh Vandana to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The competition provided an ample chance to hone the confidence in public speaking and oratory skills of the students. In Category- ‘A’ the first position was bagged by Piyush of Green Land Convent School, Dugri, second prize was secured by Hardik of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, third prize was bagged by Yashika of Green Land Convent School, Sec-32, Chd. Road, Ldh. The consolation prize went to Pallavi Thakur of Green Land Convent School, Subhash Nagar, Ldh. In Category ‘B’ the first position was bagged by Anjali of of Green Land Convent School, Subhash Nagar, Ldh., second prize was bagged by Jasmine Bal of Green Land Convent School, Civil City, Ldh, third prize went to Guneet Kaur of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass and Komal of Green Land Convent School, Sec-32, Chd. Road, Ldh. The running trophy was shared by Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass and Green Land Convent School, Sec-32, Chd. Road, Ldh. Lauding the great performances of the students, the Chairman cum Director of the Chain of Green Land schools, Sh. Rajesh Rudhra congratulated the participants on their achievement. He said that this contest was an effort to exchange the ideas and knowledge. It was the reflection of the hidden talent of the students. The Principal , Mrs. Baldeep Pandher also extended her felicitations and encouraged the students to keep participating in such competitions to improve their overall personality.

TEACHERS OF CHAIN OF GREEN LAND SCHOOLS CELEBRATE TEACHERS’ DAY WITH ZEAL

The teachers of Green Land Schools rejoiced a day by feasting and merry making in the Sh. Ram Labhaya Rudhra Auditorium at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Jallandhar Bye Pass Ludhiana. A short cultural programme was organized in honour of teachers in which teachers performed on various dance numbers and choreographed various social issues related to student teacher relationship. The mime ‘A Teacher’ was much appreciated by the audience. The choreography ‘Yugantra’ was an outstanding performance which presented the evolution of the role of Guru or teacher with the change of time. The teachers were appeared to be savouring the gala time. Teachers seemed exuberant while enjoying together. Present on the occasion were –Sh. SIDH DATA SEWA SOCIETY (REGD.) ESCORTS THE PROCESSION OF GANPATI VISARJAN FROM GANESHA’S TEMPLE NEAR LORD GANESHA’S 126 FT. HIGH IDOL

Sidh Data Sewa Society (Regd.) led a procession for Ganpati Visarjan with a great pomp and show from the Lord Ganesha’s Temple along the 126 ft. high colossal Idol of Lord Ganesha at G.T. Road, near Green Land School. The Visarjan ceremony was performed after accomplishing the Poojan and Hawan. The procession proceeded among the showers of flowers and bellows of trumpets and beguiles. Taking halts on several places on the way to Sutlej Darya, prasad of laddoos was offered to the beloved Lord and distributed among the devotees. The prayer was codified with complete propriety of conduct among the chantings of mantras by Pt. Ajay Vashisth, Pt. Prahlaad Sharma, Pt. Vinod Sharma, Pt. Dharampal Sharma and Pt. Arvind Sharma under the supervision of Pt. Somnath Vashisth. Today’s Poojan was conducted by the Chairman of Sidh Data Sewa Society (Regd.), Mr. Rajesh Rudhra, Mrs. Usha Rudhra, Mr. Shabad Rudhra, Mrs. Vijayata Rudhra , Shri Harish Rudhra, Sh. Ravi Kalra, Sh. Commending the role of mothers and teachers in tailoring the character of children , he said that only mothers and teachers can instill values like honesty and truthfulness in a child’s behavior. Teaching these values are necessary to eradicate corruption from the society. He gave a call to today’s youth to follow the path of Bhagat Singh and devote their lives to serve their mother land. Seventh Ganesh Mahotsava has been organized in Lord Ganesha’s Temple managed by Sidh Data Sewa Society (Regd.) at G.T. Road, near Green Land School. Devotees in large number thronged to pay obeisance to the 126 ft. high colossal Idol of Lord Ganesha. In today’s adulation, the devotees made the offering of 56 Bhog to their beloved Lord Ganesha. The devotees serenaded Aarti in praise of Lord Ganesha. The whole environment got enthralled with the echoes of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morea Agle Baras tu Jaldi aa’. The Navgarah Poojan was conducted with great devotion by Sh. Rajesh Rudhra and family, Smt. Alka Mittal, Mr. Anil Mittal and his mother Smt. Anguri Devi, Smt. Taruna Chopra, Sh. Pawan Chopra. Smt. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Mr. Rajesh Rudhra said that fortunate are those who come in the shelter of Lord Ganesha. Our purpose is to make people aware of Sanatan Dharma. Being Educationist, it is our duty to impart value based religious education among the youth and students. The society loses its identity which turns away from religion. So, religious values should be the core of education. If the students will be attached to religion, they will never divert away from the right path. He said that we must keep our faith alive. God always answers the prayers of a true soul. Taking the reference from life of a great devotee, Dhanna Jatt, he said that we must worship our lord true heartedly. Mr. Rudhra further said that preachings from Bhagwat Geeta enlighten us to the core and satisfy the curiosities of human soul. As in the Geeta, Shri Karishna asked Arjuna to devote himself to Him and to keep pursuing his karma rest will be supervised by lord himself, similarly, we all should be persistent towards our duties. The devotees serenaded hymns in praise of Lord Ganesha. The marquee was adorned with flowers and streamers which gave a solemn manifestation. The Navgarah Poojan was conducted with great devotion by Sh. Rajesh Rudhra, Smt. Usha Rudhra, Sh. Anil Khanna , Smt. Kusum Khanna, Sh.Ravi Kalra, Smt. Rashmi Kalra, Sh. Harish Rudhra and Smt. Sonam Rudhra . Today’s venerations were codified with great devotional obeisance maintaining complete propriety of conduct. The Poojan was supervised by Pt. Somnath Vashist, Pt. Ajay Vashist, Pt. SEVENTH GANESH MAHOTSAVA IN LORD GANESHA’S TEMPLE AT G.T. ROAD, NEAR GREEN LAND SCHOOL MANAGED BY SIDH DATA SEWA SOCIETY ( Regd.)

Seventh Ganesh Mahotsava was organised in Lord Ganesha’s Temple by Sidh Data Sewa Society ( Regd.)at G.T. Road, near Green Land School . Devotees in large number thronged to pay obeisance to the 126 ft. high colossal Idol of Lord Ganesha. Installation of the Idol started with hoisting of Lord Ganeshra’s flag. The devotees serenaded hymns in praise of Lord Ganesha. The marquee was adorned with flowers and streamers which gave a solemn manifestation. The Navgarah Poojan was conducted with great devotion by Sh. Rajesh Rudhra, Smt. Usha Rudhra, Sh. Anil Khanna , Smt. Kusum Khanna, Sh.Ravi Kalra, Smt. Rashmi Kalra, Sh. Harish Rudhra and Smt. Sonam Rudhra . Today’s venerations were codified with great devotional obeisance maintaining complete propriety of conduct. The Poojan was supervised by Pt. Somnath Vashist, Pt. Ajay Vashist, Pt. Vinod Sharma, Pt. Prahlad Sharma and Pt. Mukesh Sharma. During the Pooja, Pt. Ajay Vashist told the devotees and children that one should always remain attached with one’s religion. Guru is a source of all light in the world. We should follow the true Guru who has power to redeem our soul. After Navagraha Poojan, hymns and praises of Ganpati Ji were sung blatant. The students also enchanted the praises of Lord Ganesha. The whole environment got enthralled with the echoes of ‘ Deva O Deva’. 0.Speaking on the occasion Shri Rajesh Rudhra, President of Sidh Data Sewa Society (Regd.) said that Lord Ganesha is the first Lord to be worshipped. All our wishes are fulfilled by paying obeisance to the beloved Lord. He is the giver of knowledge , opulence and prosperity. He also said that educational institutes should also impart religious values along with bookish knowledge. Later, Shri Rudhra announced the devotees that Ganpati Visarjan will take palce at 11:00 a.m. on 4th Sept., 2017 in the Sutlej river after Hawan Poojan. He invited all to participate in the solemn occasion. In today’s worshipping, other members of the committee Shri. Shabad Rudhra , Shri Harish Rudhra, Sh. Ravi Kalra, Sh. Anil Nayyar , Sh. Deepti Kapoor, Sh. Tarachand , Sh. Ved Bhandari, Sh. Prem Kishan Bassi ,Sh. Dayanand Mehta and Sh. Pawan Chopra sang Aarti and offered Ladoos to Ganpati JI. Today Ganpati Ki was offered 56 types of delicacies.

SWACHCH BHARAT DRIVE KICKS START AT GREEN LAND

Swachch Bharat Drive kick started at Greenland Sr. Sec Public School today with the tiny tots of Pre Nursery and Nursery giving the message of clean India- Green India, water conservation and wild life conservation through their lovely rhymes with beautiful actions and expressions which reflected the concern of children for environment, water and animals. The enthusiasm of the students was commendable. The Principal of the school Ms. Baldeep Pandher applauded the effort put in by the teachers and students. Lavanya Chopra, Aditi Kainth, Armaan Bhatia of Pre nursery, Naksh Sethi,Agamjot Kaur, Kanishq, Abhiraj,Sanshia, Aarisha and Mysha of nursery were adjudged the best.

CHAIN OF GREEN LAND SCHOOLS CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY AND JANAMASHTMI

Keeping the spirit of patriotism alive , the staff and students of Chain of Green Land Schools, Ludhiana, celebrated Independence Day with full zeal and exuberance. The Chairman cum Director of the Chain of Green Land Schools, Sh.Rajesh Rudhra , General Secretary, Mrs. Usha Rudhra, President Mr. Shabad Rudhra, Mrs. Vijeyta Rudhra, alongwith Principals Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, Mrs. Vinita Sanan, Mrs. Jyoti Pujara, Mrs. Vimmy Thakur, Mrs. Ravinder Kaur and other members of the Managing Committee hoisted the Tricolour. NCC cadets of 3 Punjab Battalion accorded a guard of honour and led the March Past. The students presented a brief cultural show in which they danced melodiously on the patriotic numbers. They also paid a homage to the martyrs and expressed their love and concern for the nation. As customary, the staff and students collectively underwent an oath to safeguard their nation under all circumstances. The school resounded with the slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai.’ Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman cum Director of the Chain of Green Land Schools, Sh Rajesh Rudhra said that it is imperative for all the educational institutions to imbibe spirit of patriotism among the students as they are our greatest wealth. Freedom fighters sacrificed their lives to keep India united. He said that only youth can change the fate of a country. The youth like Bhagat Singh, Udham Singh , Chander Shekar Azad etc. had the privilege of sacrificing their lives for the sake of the country. He further said that the youth must be brave enough to fight for the country. Feeling the concern for the relationship between India and China he strongly professed to boycott Chinese products. To commemorate the auspicious occasion of Janam Ashtami, Shri Rajesh Rudhra Ji along with the members of the Managing Committee and Principals paid obeisance to beloved Lord Shri Krishna. Vistas from the life history of Lord Krishna were adorned in which the small students looked charming in the pious attire of Radha and Krishan. Addressing the students, Shri Rudhra spoke on importance of Karma in one’s life. Taking the reference from Lord Krishna’s life he impressed upon the path of justice and righteousness. The Principal of the school Mrs. Baldeep Pandher told the students to be the harbingers of peace and harmony. She impressed upon spreading love and brotherhood everywhere. She asked the students to be the change that they want to see in the society. The celebrations ended with the National Anthem.

TEEJ CELEBRATIONS AT GREEN LAND SCHOOL

Teej was celebrated with a great festive fervour by the senior girls of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The girls looked charmingly beautiful while flaunting traditional Punjabi outfits, colourful phulkaries, parandis, Patiala shahis and juttis along with traditional Punjabi ornaments. They performed Giddha, staged Tarinjhans and danced to the tunes of popular folk songs with great gusto. They also relished Kheer Puras and other traditional Punjabi cuisines. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher extended warm wishes to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Teej. She said that Teej is an occasion to celebrate our age old glorified heritage and culture.

TINY TOTS CELEBRATE TEEJ AT GREEN LAND PUBLIC SCHOOL

Teej was celebrated with great zeal and exuberance in Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The students from P.Nsy. to III attired in beautiful traditional outfits, dazzled everyone with their radiant smiles. The swings were decorated with flowers. VAN MAHOTSAVA CELEBRATIONS BY PRIMARY SECTION AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

Trees are the kindest things we grow. This has been rightly said as the need of all living beings are fulfilled by them. Their depleting number has become a serious issue. To make the students aware of this issue different activities were conducted for the students of Pre.Nsy.-V as a part of Van Mahotsava celebrations. The compassionate students of Pre. Nsy., Nursery and K.G expressed their deep love for nature through nature walk. The students had a lovely time enjoying the bounties of nature watching birds and squirrels. They found the activity quite rejuvenating and interesting. They pledged to keep the environment green, clean and healthy. The students of I- V took part in poster making and slogan writing competition. There was a ramp walk to sensitize the students about environment with beautiful messages to save nature, trees and animals. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher appreciated the zeal and enthusiasm of the students. She added that it is the responsibility of each student to grow trees and play a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance. Remembering the sacrifices of a great National hero Shaheed Udham Singh, the students of Green Land Senior Secondary Public School Jalandhar Bye Pass paid their respect to the great martyr of the nation by offering petals. The students were told about the ardent love that Udham Singh carried his heart for his country and countrymen. He saw the massacre of Jallianwala Bagh at a very young age and took a pledge to avenge the bloodshed. He sacrificed his life for the country. Observing the martyrdom of Shaheed Udham Singh, the Principal of the school Mrs. Baldeep Pandher said that the sacrifice and life story of all the martyrs give inspiration to the youth of all times. She told the students that they should draw inspiration from such National heroes and never hesitate to stand by their Nations whenever or whatever the need be.

ENTHUSIASM GALORE- GREEN LAND RE-OPENS

Summer Holidays are over ! It’s back to school for kids of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The kids were excited to get back to school after summer vacation of more than a month. “I have been waiting to get back to school and I’m happy to meet my friends” said a student of VI Chaucer. “Holidays are fun for a while but then I got bored” said another student of VII Chaucer.An activity “Sharing Holidays Experience” was conducted for all the students wherein students expressed their experiences. They said that vacation relieves them from the pressure of exams, homework and daily lectures. Many spent vacation by playing & spending quality time with their relatives. Others enjoyed family trips to various parts of India and abroad. In K.G. wing the re-opening of school was celebrated in a homely and friendly atmosphere. Classrooms were decorated with colourful banners, ribbons & balloons as teachers welcomed the children. The Principal Mrs Baldeep Pandher welcomed the students and teachers. She was happy to see them and motivated them to Get-Set-Go with academic and co-curricular activities with zeal & enthusiasm.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY OBSERVED AT GREEN LAND

Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana organized International Yoga Day on its premises to make the students aware about the age long practice of Yoga. All the students of senior wing performed various aasanas under the aegis of proficient mentors. An aura of spiritual meditation with pure vibration touched the mind and soul of all the pupils . It was an expression of meaningful existence in terms of how enthusiastic one can be to tackle the grim situation in life. The traditional perception of yoga gurus reminded everyone about the secrets of fitness and long life of all the saints. The Chairman cum Director of the Chain of Green Land Schools, Mr. Rajesh Rudhra and the school Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher encouraged the students for regular yoga practice for stress- free life , strong immunity and to develop harmony in the society for suitable health development.

Students At Green Land Pay Homage to Martyrs

Observing 18th Kargil Diwas, students of Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, not only paid homage to Kargil heroes but also to all those martyrs who sacrificed their lives protecting the country. The students from X – XII participated in Inter House Poster Making Competition. The students made posters depicting their patriotic feelings. Remembering the great sacrifices of freedom fighters, they kept the spirit of patriotism alive. Jagriti House was adjudged as the best. The school Principal, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher , said that we should not forget the sacrifices made by the martyrs. She implored the students to imbibe patriotism so, that they prove to be an asset for the Nation.

Talk Show organized at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School

An Inter house talk show was organized for the students of XI at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Jalandhar Bye Pass. Different topics were given to each House. Jagriti House students talked about Importance and Protection of flora and fauna whereas Jyoti House students highlighted on the very current topic of GST . The students of Kirti House spoke on the topic Agriculture and Soil and the students of Shakti House talked about Indian Economy. Various facts regarding Economy were highlighted. Many questions were raised by the audience which were answered by the participating students. The school Principal, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher applauded the endeavour exhibited by the students. Jyoti House students were adjudged as the best.

VANMAHOTSAVA WEEK CULMINATES WITH ENGLISH DECLAMATION AT GREEN LAND

Week long festivities based on the theme ‘Go Green’ culminated with English Declamation and Poster Making Competition at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye pass, Ludhiana today. The students from IX participated in the English Declamation competition on the topic – ‘Save Tree’. ‘Conserve Wild Life’. ‘Save Earth, ‘Global Warming –A great threat to life’, ‘Earth overloaded with burden of Pollution’, ‘Save flora and fauna for ecological balance’. The students also highlighted on the dire need to conserve Wild life for ecological balance. They stressed on the urgent need of conserving Petroleum, minerals resources and electricity as well. Solutions and suggestions were put forth to spread awareness amongst the students to make them realize the importance of preserving flora & fauna. The students of class VIII participated in Inter House Poster Making Competition. Showing sensitivity towards deteriorating environment the students made beautiful posters. The Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher lauded the efforts of the students and the staff. She said that being sensitive about the environment suggests that we are responsible citizens. It is the duty of every citizen to make unprecedented efforts to save the environment. In Poster making Jahaan of Jagriti House and Malika of Shakti House bagged First Prize. Gurleen and Lekhana of Shakti House got the second and Jhilmil & Samridhi of Kirti House was awarded third prize. Ansh of Jagriti House and Khushi Khanna of Kirti House got consolation prize. In English Declamation Competition 1st prize was won by Jasleen Kaur from IX Keats, 2nd prize was won by Prabhmeet IX Keats and Radhika from IX Bacon won the 3rd prize.

SLOGAN WRITING AT GREEN LAND

A slogan writing competition was held for the students of class VII on day 2 of the environment sensitization drive at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Ludhiana. The students enthusiastically wrote beautiful slogans promising to create awareness among masses through their posters and slogans regarding importance of trees. Students wrote slogans like , “ Each One Plant One”, “ Save Earth or be prepared to perish like Dinosaurs”, “ Preserve Flora & Fauna for future generation”, “ Growing trees is the only solution”, “ Save Trees, Save Earth, Save Life”, “Deforestation is death of life on Earth”, “ Trees are the heart beats of the Earth” etc. Plantation drive by NCC cadets of 3 Punjab Battalion Senior Wing and Junior Division was also organized. The Students pledged to save environment by planting more and more trees. The Principal of the school Mrs. Baldeep Pandher appreciated the effort put in by the teachers and students.

VAN MAHOTSAVA WEEK BEGINS AT GREEN LAND

To create awareness and sensitize the students regarding the need to grow more trees, Van Mahotsava Week kick started at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. An Inter-section Compering Contest was organized for the students of class VI in which all the students of class VI participated. The students highlighted the problem of global warming, deforestation, ozone layer depletion. The students also spoke on the importance and need to preserve trees, natural resources, flora & fauna. The performance of students was quite lively and interesting. All the students pledged to keep the environment green, clean and healthy by planting more and more trees. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher appreciated the zeal and enthusiasm of the students. They were given tips on how to save the environment and protect their surroundings. LABOUR DAY OBSERVED AT GREEN LAND

LABOUR Day was observed enthusiastically by the students of Green Land Sr. Sec. Pubic School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ldh. A wonderful ‘Fancy Dress’ show was put up by the students of P.Nsy. to K.G. wherein they came dressed up as different helpers. The main motive was to make them realize that no work should be deemed as high or low and due respect should be given to every profession. The kids dressed up as vegetable sellers, chefs , maids , drivers, gardeners, attendants, cobblers etc thanked God for providing helpers who help us in our day to day life. The Principal of the school , Mrs. Baldeep Pandher applauded the effort put in by the staff and students. The students were exhorted to believe in the dignity of labour .It was stressed upon that no great achievement is possible without persistent work. The confidence of the students with which they put forth the significance of each and every profession was worth appreciation.

FRESHERS’ PARTY AT GREEN LAND

A Freshers’ Party for the students of Pre. Nursery to V marked the beginning of the new session of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The students looked stunning in colourful dresses. It was a delight to watch tiny tots in party caps and masks. They danced as well as enjoyed the games together with their teachers. The children walked the ramp with confidence and style. Mahib and Arshpreet were declared as Mr. and Ms. Fresher. Kavish as Mr. Charming , Kanan as Ms.Beautiful eyes, Radhika as Ms. Elegant and Keerat as Ms. Beautiful hair, Samarveer , Lavanya and Kayra as Mr. and Ms. Confident. The loud music lifted up everybody’s spirit forcing them to tap their feet on the popular numbers. Everyone was brimming with energy. The Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher wished them good luck and motivated them to inculcate moral values in themselves.

SEMINAR ON HEALTH AND WELLNESS ORGANISED AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

Seminar on health and wellness was organised at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, for the students of class VII & VIII. The students were made aware about certain diseases like Malaria, Dengue, Chickengunia, its symptoms and preventive measures. The students were also enlightened about the importance of personal hygiene and good food habits for promoting health. The lecture was given by Mrs. Banjeet Kaur , Mrs. Sangeeta Arora and Mrs. Loveleen faculty form Science Department . The topics were well elaborated through power point presentations. Many students raised questions during the session and lively discussion added to the knowledge of the students. Appreciating the efforts of Science Department the principal of the school Mrs. Baldeep Pandher told the students the importance of balanced diet for good health. She also said that nutritious diet is vital for good physical and mental health.

EARTH DAY OBSERVED AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

To commemorate the Earth Day, Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana organized an Inter Section Recitation Competition for the students from VII - VIII. The students participated zealously and spoke on environmental issues like deforestation, deterioration of croplands and fisheries, global warming and so on. The objective to conduct this contest was to sensitize the students about the biological importance and existence of the planet. The students of class VII-VIII also participated in Inter Section Poster Making Competition depicting the issue. Appreciating the awareness and participation of the students, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, the school Principal congratulated the winners and said that it is crucial to put a halt to the deteriorating conditions of the environment to save the mankind and other species. She announced the names of the winners of Poetry Recitation Competition which goes as follows:- The first prize was bagged by Aarav-VII Pope & Samridhi –VIII Chaucer. The second position was secured by Hardik-VII Chaucer & Ashpreet-VIII Keats and Shivam –VII Chaucer& Manasvi – VIII Bacon got third position in the contest. GREENLAND SR. SEC. SCHOOL CELEBRATES SILVER JUBILEE AND ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION

The Second Day of Silver Jubilee celebrations at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana to commemorate the completion of 25 glorious years of success of the school turned out to be the most memorable one with Shri. The Chief guest and the Guests of honour were accorded a warm welcome by Chairman cum Director of the school ,Mr. Rajesh Rudhra, Mrs. Usha Rudhra, President, Mr. Shabad Rudhra, Mrs. Vijayata Rudhra, Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher and other members of the Managing Committee. All the dignitaries were given a guard of honour by the NCC cadets. The function (UDAAN) began with Shiv Aradhana which was followed by the cultural presentation of dances, choreographies and a play. The academic achievers were awarded the awards for excellence in academics. On the occasion of silver jubilee, The Chief guest Sh. Raj Babbar, Member of Parliament, inaugurated ‘Sh. Ram Labhaya Auditorium’ which is named after the Founder President Sh. Ram Labhaya Rudhra ji. The students looked exuberant and elated in the colourful costumes. All the items were entwined around the theme ‘Role of parents in promoting value based education of the children’. The play ‘Moksh’ stole all the appreciation of the audience. It was an ardent effort to unfold the state of hollowness of relationship in Indian families. The play presented the importance of Karma in one’s life. It was a beautiful script motivating the audience to do noble deeds shedding away materialistic approach. The Glimpses of the auspicious festival of Baisakhi could also be seen in school campus. The students showcased the ‘Punjabi Virsa’ that highlighted the traditional Punjabi culture and heritage. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the school, Sh. Rajesh Rudhra ji said that whatever is collected in the shape of fee and fund it is invested for the development of the school and welfare of the school children. During these 25 years, an auditorium worth 3 Crores, sports hall worth 2.5 Crores, a sports stadium spread out in 8 acres of land worth 5 Crores and an English language lab with 100 computers worth 1 Crore have been handed over to the school children. He announced that the ‘Sehwag Cricket Academy’ will also be inaugurated in the month of June this year. The Chief Guest congratulated the staff and students on the Silver Jubilee celebrations. He applauded the talent and efforts of the students for putting up a Gala show. The school Principal, Baldeep Pandher, also extended felicitations on completion of 25 successful years of the school. She highlighted the achievements of the school in the field of academics, sports and co-curricular activities. She applauded the joint effort of the staff, students and the parents for making the day special. GREENLAND SR. SEC. SCHOOL CELEBRATES SILVER JUBILEE AND ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION

A two-day Silver Jubilee Celebrations and Annual Prize Distribution Function began at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana to commemorate the completion of 25 glorious years of success of the school. The first day was marked as Baisakhi and the Founder’s Day of the school which was celebrated with great zeal. The Chief Guest, Chairman cum Director of Chain of Green Land Schools, Mr. Rajesh Rudhra, General Secretary, Mrs. Usha Rudhra, President , Mr. Shabad Rudhra, Mrs. Vijayata Rudhra and other members of the Managing Committee were accorded a warm welcome by the school Principal, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher and the student council. They were accompanied by Principals of the Chain of Green Land schools including Mrs. Vinita Sanan, Mrs. Jyoti Pujara and Mrs Vimmy Thakur . All the dignitaries given were floral welcome. The function began with Lighting the ceremonial lamp and Shiv Aradhana. There upon, a cultural presentation of dances, choreographies and a play was staged. The academic achievers of Junior wing were awarded prizes for their excellent performance in the academic session. The whole school was decorated in the traditional colours of Baisakhi. The students looked high-spirited and enthusiastic in the traditional attires of Punjab. Several speeches were delivered to give the importance of Baisakhi and the 25th Anniversary of the school. The school Principal, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, took pride in reading the report of school achievements during the past 25 years. The cultural Programme culminated with Bhangra and Giddha. The Chief Guest applauded the efforts made by the school to retrieve the diminishing bond between the parents and their children. He said that he was particularly touched by the play ‘Moksh’. The play highlighted the need of spiritual upliftment in the web of materialistic surroundings. The Chairman cum Director of the Chain of Green Land schools, Mr. Rajesh Rudhra said that it is the need of the hour that the parents should start devoting their time to their children to prevent moral degredation. He said that the values and morals can only be instilled by the parents and teachers collectively in the children. HAWAN AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

The beginning of the new session was solemnized with the age old tradition of the Hawan Ceremony which was performed by Pt. Ajay Vashisht and Pt. Vinod Sharma under the guidance of Pt. Somnath Shastri, today at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, to invoke the blessings of the Almighty. The Chairman cum Director of the Chain of Green Land Schools, Sh. Rajesh Rudhra, Smt. Usha Rudhra , School President, Sh. Shabad Rudhra, Mrs. Vijayata Rudhra and Principal of the school Mrs. Baldeep Pandher presented their obeisence and offerings maintaining the propriety of conduct. Mr.Rajesh Rudhra enlightened the students about the true meaning and importance of Hawan. He said that the fire and smoke that emanate from Hawan purifies not only the atmosphere but also cleanses our mind and soul. He highlighted the advantages that an individual gets by chanting and reciting ‘OM’. He also told the students about the important role that ‘Guru’ plays in the life of his students. The entire staff and students of the school participated in this sacred act amidst the chanting of Gayatri Mantras. The school staff and students offered Ahuti and prayed for a happy and prosperous year ahead . The Hawan culminated with Aarti and hymns in the praise of the Almighty.

GREENLAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL OBSERVES MARTYRDOM DAY OF SARDAR KARTAR SINGH SARABHA

The Martyrdom Day of Sardar Kartar Singh Sarabha was observed, at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, yesterday. A floral obeisance was paid to Sardar Kartar Singh Sarabha by the Principal, staff and students of the school. Speeches were delivered to highlight the life history of Sardar Kartar Singh Sarabha aiming at instilling positive values amongst the students. Thereupon students intoned patriotic songs and vowed to make sacrifices for the country from time to time. Childrens’ Day was celebrated at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana with great enthusiasm. The programme began by paying homage to our beloved leader Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru who loved children very much. The students were made aware of the various achievements of our first Prime Minister in economic, cultural and social fields. The teachers showcased a beautiful programme for the tiny tots of Pre. Nursery to I to make them happy. Students dressed up in their party dresses enjoyed thoroughly their class party dancing to the tunes of popular dance numbers. A cooking competition was also held for the students of II to V. Students made sandwiches and salads with great creativity and presented them in novel ways. An Inter House Poster Making Competition was also was organized for the students of VIII, IX & XI. AN INTERHOUSE POWERPOINT PRESENTATION HELD AT GREEN LAND

An Interhouse Powerpoint Presentation was held for the students of VII and VIII in Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The students presented various PPTs on the topic –Air Pollution, Relationship between students and teachers, Harmful effects of mobile phones, Do’s and Don’ts in student’s life. The students very beautifully described the importance of environment and ways to keep air clean and pure. Their suggestions were practical and approach was analytical. The students showed their skill by making effective PPT highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones. The students were also successful in showing how a good relationship between a teacher and a student can help one to bloom and make ones future bright. The principal of the school, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher applauded and appreciated the students for their zeal and enthusiasm. The result is as follows:- The first prize was bagged by Manasvi & Radhika from class VIII . Shivam and Nilesh from class VII got the second position. Third prize was won by Vibha & Jhilmil from VIII. Consolation prizes were given to Hardik , Nidhi,Harsh, Pir Jazib, Jasmeen & Radhika. SOLO DANCE COMPETITION HELD AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

An Inter section Solo Dance Competition was held for the students of Nursery to V . Almost 30 students from various sections participated enthusiastically in the competition. Dressed at their best, the students danced to the tunes of popular bollywood numbers. The students had a gala time as it proved to be a happy and joyful experience for one and all. Ananya, Triman, Dorothy, Mannat, Sia, Srishti, Kananpreet, Manmeet, Pratham and Sarthak were adjudged the best performers of the day. The Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher congratulated the winners.

PAPER READING CONTEST AT GREEN LAND

Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, organized a Paper Reading Competition for the students of class II & III. A total of 30 students participated in the competition. The competition was organized to check the pronunciation, fluency, confidence and reading speed of the students. It was a memorable experience for the students. It was a true platform to showcase the talent and interest of the students. Addressing the students principal of the school, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, highlighted the importance of reading newspapers in our life and said that students can enhance their knowledge of different subjects and hone their skills by reading newspapers.

PRESENTATION BY X CLASS STUDENTS OF GREEN LAND SR. SEC. SCHOOL

Today, the students of class X of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, gave a presentation on the two crucial themes: firstly on ‘SAVE ENVIRONMENT’ and secondly on ‘WOMEN EMPOWERMENT’. The Students presented a street play with a song giving a message to save environment. Various slogans and quotations were used to deliver the idea such as : ‘Earth provides enough to satisfy everyone’s need but not for everyone’s greed” and “ We have not inherited our Earth from our ancestors but we have borrowed it from our grand children”. Through the slogans the students gave a message to protect our environment which is being degraded and deteriorated at a fast pace. Other students highlighted the message to ‘Abolish Dowry System and to stop “Female Foeticide” through one act play. In the play students enacted how a daughter-in-law was just going to kill herself because of the unaffordable burden of dowry and how one father kills his own girl child in her mother’s womb. They also gave a message to the society to be aware of the laws which are made for the protection of the girls and women. The principal of the school, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher guided the students to take intense care of our environment and our ambience. For that one should not scribble anywhere or one should not spoil the surrounding by littering anywhere. She also told the students to respect the women in the house and as well as outside anywhere in the society. A slogan was raised to protect girls “ Beti Parhao, Beti Bachao”.

ANNUAL ATHLETICS MEET BEGINS AT GREEN LAND SR.SEC.PUBLIC SCHOOL

Green Land Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana marks its commitment to the importance of sports in student life by beginning its 4 day long Annual Sports meet in which students from Pre Nursery. to V will participate. The meet was declared open by the principal of the school, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher which was followed by an impressive march past by the participants. NATIONAL INTEGRATION DAY OBSERVED AT GREEN LAND SR.SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

Observing National Integrity Week, the students of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, presented PPTs on the topics “National Integration”, “ Save Environment” and “Atiti Devo Bhava”. The students highlighted major elements which are helping India to remain Integrated. They also successfully exhibited the causes which are a threat to India’s unity such as terrorism, corruption, black money and many more. Through their presentations students put forth the fact that though we belong to different castes, religion, tribes and speak different languages yet WE ARE ONE. They raised the slogan ‘ From Kanyakumari to Kashmir- India is one’. Furthermore, students described the importance of Environment and ways to protect it. They highlighted the need to protect the natural resources and various steps to protect it. At last, the students show cast how India is the hub of hospitality with a slogan of “Atiti Devo Bhava’. Indians are known for their hospitality across the globe. It is a part of “Code of Conduct” for Indian culture. GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL OBSERVES MARTYRDOM DAY OF SHRI GURU TEG BAHADUR

Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji was observed with great devotion today at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The students and staff paid obeisance to the Guru by singing hymns in the praise of Almighty. The students were told about the sacrifice of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. Rich tributes were paid to Bhai Mati Dass Ji, Bhai Sati Dass Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji who were martyred one day before the martyrdom of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. Speaking on the occasion Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher advised the students that they should seek inspiration from the Great Guru, who was also known as ‘Hind Di Chaddar’. She further added that we should follow the path of righteousness and should always be ready to sacrifice our lives for the welfare of mankind. In the CBSE National Chess Championship which was held at SARALA BIRLA PUBLIC SCHOOL, Mahilong, Ranchi-Purulia Highway, Ranchi, Jharkhand From 14.11.2017 - 18.11.2017. Priyanka (U-19 girls) of the school who was representing North Zone-II group bagged bronze medal in individual category. The Chairman cum Director Sh. STORY TELLING COMPETITION AT GREEN LAND

A Story Telling Competition was held at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana for the students of grade II & III to enable them to improve their ability to communicate their thoughts and feelings in an effective way. The students actively participated in the competition and used different kinds of props and models to narrate their stories. The expressions, dialogues and voice modulations used by students to narrate their stories helped them to develop emotionally and gain a better sense of self esteem. It was a day of fun ‘n’ frolic and students enjoyed to their heart’s content. The stories narrated by Aarush, Pir Jaza, Prachi and Pranav from class II and Dorothy, Disha, Harshita, Shreshat and Himani were commendable. The Principal of the school Mrs. Baldeep Pandher said that such kind of competitions played a crucial role in the personal, social and emotional development of the students thus improving their speaking skills and instilling confidence in them.

SHORT SPEECH COMPETITION AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

A short speech competition was held at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana for the students of Nursery and K.G. Around 50 students from Nursery and K.G. participated in it. It was pleasing to see so many enthusiastic students presenting their speeches with beautiful props prepared by them on the topics- Mobile Phone, Our National Game, Swachch Bharat, Save Water, Festivals etc. The judges were impressed with the preparation that had gone into the day. A SAKHI TELLING COMPETITION ORGANIZED AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Sakhi Telling Competition was organized at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The students of class VII and VIII participated in the event with great devotion. About 40 students narrated the life stories of Sikh Gurus and paid their obeisance to the Gurus. The students of middle wing were dressed up representing different states but sharing a unified purpose ‘Unity in Diversity’ They raised a slogan, for the promotion of National International, “From Kashmir to Kanyankumari, India is one”. The students gave the message that every citizen should follow the patriotic doctrine that country comes first and all other issues come second. The students put forth the idea that forces of regionalism, communalism, religious fanaticism, lingualism and terrorism can never be a threat for our unity if we are one and united. Green Land Sr sec Public School Organised Mom and Me Ramp Walk Show

Mom and Me Ramp Walk Show was organized today, at Green Land Sr. Sec Public School, Jalandhar Bye pass, Ludhiana. The objective of the show was to showcase the hidden talent of the tiny toddlers. Approx. 250 children below five years in age participated with their mothers. Their parents and grand parents were accorded a warm welcome by Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, Principal of Green Land Sr Sec Public School. To start the program, spiritual muse was invoked by performing on Shiv Aradhna. The chief attraction of today’s programme was the Ramp Show in which the small kids showcased their talent and confidence on stage in company of their mothers. It was organized for the students of VIII & IX on the theme of ‘Cleanliness And Hygiene Practices’. There were five rounds in which students answered enthusiastically. SEMINAR ON TAX AWARENESS AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC PUBLIC SCHOOL

Green Land Sr. Sec Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana organized a seminar to create awareness among the students of senior classes about the importance of paying taxes, where Ms. Priyanka Ahuja (IRS), Assistance Commissioner, Income Tax, Jalandhar, was the resource person. This move has been initiated by the Government. A floral welcome was accorded by the Principal of the school, Mrs.Baldeep Pandher. A sapling ‘Kar Tree’ was planted to kindle a sense of responsibility among the future tax payers of the Nation. The students were sensitized about the importance of paying taxes. Ms. Priyanka Ahuja said that progress of nation depends upon the money collected by tax payment. So, people should realize their responsibility to pay taxes honestly . Gandhi Jayanti and birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri was observed with great fervour at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Jalandhar Bye Pass Ludhiana. The students commemorated the birth of the great leaders by paying a floral tributes to the great leaders whose principles continue to influence the political leaders and movements till date. The students were given a deep insight into the life of Gandhiji and encouraged to think about the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The tiny tots of Green Land Sr. Sec Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, celebrated Dussehra with great fervor to mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil. The little ones dressed up in their best as Ram, Lakshman, Sita, Hanuman etc. depicted various scenes from the great Hindu epic, Ramayana. The celebrations of Diwali ‘The Festival of lights’ came alive at the K.G. block of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Jalandhar Bye Pass Ludhiana, when the whole campus wore a festive look with diyas and lanterns adorning corridors with bright colours. Candles and diyas displayed were of varying shapes and sizes. The tiny tots tried to convey in their own way how this pious festival can be celebrated in other ways than by just bursting crackers & polluting the environment. The Principal of the school Mrs. Baldeep Pandher appreciated the endeavour of the students and stressed upon the need to embrace greener and safer modes of enjoying this festival.

GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL EXPRESSES SOLIDARITY WITH ‘BETI PADAO BETI BACHAO’ CAMPAIGN

The students of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Jalandhar Bye Pass Ludhiana, expressed their solidarity for the social campaign of ‘Beti Padao Beti Bachao’ through Poster Making Competition. The students passed message that there should be no discrimination between boys and girls in any way. Through the impressive posters students made an emotional endeavour to end discrimination against girl child. They impressed upon the idea that boys and girls are equal and that girls can progress in all fields if they are given equal opportunities. Empowering women, celebrating birth of a girl child, check on female foeticide, providing equal opportunities and educating girl child is a must to prevent gender discrimination. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Baldeep Pandher appreciated the endeavour of the students and said that girls should not be discriminated and in order to remove this injustice such campaigns can prove a boon to the society. She also said that parents must teach their sons right from their childhood to respect girls.

TEACHER ORIENTATION PROGRAMME BY MR. ASHOK GANGULY , THE FORMER CHAIRMAN OF CBSE AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

An orientation programme was organized yesterday, to enhance professional skills of teachers at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School Jalandhar Bye Pass Ludhiana. Mr. Ashok Ganguly , the former Chairman of CBSE, was welcomed as a resource person of the programme by the Chairman cum Director of the Chain of Green Land schools, Sh. Rajesh Rudhra , President Mr. Shabad Rudhra, Ms. Vijayata Rudhra, Principals of all the branches Ms. Baldeep Pandher, Ms. Vinita Sanan, Ms. Jyoti Pujara, Ms. Vimmy Thakur and Ms. Ravinder Kaur. Mr. Ganguly addressed the gathering of approx. 500 teachers from chain of Green Land Schools in Sh. Ram Labhaya Rudhra Auditorium. The motive of the seminar was to instill the professional skill of how to cherish oneself as teacher. Mr. Ganguly laid down valuable guideline on Quality Frame Work for effective teaching. He said that if the teacher cares well, the students will fare well in their lives. He highlighted the importance of soft skills like humility, ethical mind, sacrifice and empathy. Giving the tips on healthy and stress free life, he gave the message of adopting a positive attitude. He impressed upon maintaining a balance between personal and professional life. He advised teachers to read a lot , write a lot, appreciate a lot, run a lot and be ardent learners. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Rudhra said that Mr. Ganguly is a storehouse of knowledge and he is proud to have known him so closely. He praised Mr. Ganguly’s unquestioned allegiance, devotion and discipline as the Chairman of the CBSE. LOHRI CELEBRATIONS AMIDST MASTI & DHAMAAL AT GREEN LAND

Lohri was celebrated amidst tremendous joy, enthusiasm, fun and dhamaal at Green Land Sr.Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The young, jovial energetic toddlers dressed up in traditional Punjabi attire performed bhangra and gidda on the beats of dhol around the bonfire as it gave them an opportunity to break free from their busy schedule & share each others company. Offerings of chirwa, meva, til, gur, rewri, gachak etc. were made to Agni, the God of fire by one and all. Popular songs in praise of Dulha Bhatti were sung by students. The Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher joined the celebrations and exhorted students to thank God for a bountiful life on earth & at the same time keep alive the tradition and culture. The school campus was beautifully decorated with colourful kites. The Students relished groundnuts, puffed rice, rewris & other winter savories and had a gala time full of fun and merriment.

BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF GURU GOBIND SINGH JI CELEBRATED AT GREEN LAND

Shri Guru Gobind Singh’s birth anniversary was celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm at Green Land Sr. Sec.Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The entire school campus reverberated with devotional shabads. The Principal Mrs.Baldeep Pandher highlighted the teachings of our Dashmesh Guru Sh.Guru Gobind Singh Ji. She impressed upon the students to always indulge in noble deeds and have the courage to raise voice against what is wrong. The students sang hymns in praise of the almighty. Devotional hymns like “Mitar Piyaree Nu” and “Deh Shiva Bar Mohe” were sung by the students.

NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS AT GREEN LAND SR. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

Colourful celebrations marked the beginning of 2018 at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana. The school was tastefully decorated with New Year banners and balloons. The students were in a jubilant mood after the winter break. A Solo Dance Competition was held on the occasion in which as many as 18 students from K.G. to V participated. Dressed at their best the students danced to the tunes of popular dance numbers. Speaking on the occasion Principal of the school Mrs. Baldeep Pandher said that students must work hard and remain focused on their goals to attain success. At the same time they should remain in touch with their age old customs and traditions. She also appreciated the enthusiasm and endeavour of the students. Ananya of I Keats, Triman of I Milton, Aditya of II Milton , Simarjeet of IV Bacon, Siya of IV Chaucer, Srishti of IV Milton, Kanan of IV Milton and Manmeet of V Milton were adjudged the best dancers.

X-MAS CELEBRATIONS AT GREEN LAND

Students at Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bye Pass, Ludhiana, celebrated the spirit of Christmas with joy and cheer. The little ones of kindergarten presented a colourful skit related to the birth of Jesus Christ. The programme was followed by beautiful dances. Tiny tots clad in the costumes of santas, angels and fairies wished merry X-Mas to everyone. An overflow of enthusiasm , mirth and joy was witnessed all around. Tiny tots looked charming and fresh clad in the costumes of santas, angels, fairies. The whole school was festooned in the festive colours of Christmas. Everybody swayed and waved along the tunes of ‘Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell….’, and ‘O Jesus….’. The school Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher gave her heartfelt wishes and impressed upon the students to show love and respect to everyone. The students had a gala time amidst santa distributing sweets and gifts among all.
