GREEN LAND STUDENTS SHINE IN DISTRICT TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Students of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, Ludhiana, brought laurels to the school with their outstanding performances in district and CBSE-level table tennis championships. In the Punjab Schools District Table Tennis Tournament, held at KVM School, Ludhiana, the school’s U-17 Girls team, representing PAU Zone, secured First Position. The team comprised Gargi Tandon, Ridhima, Himani and Drishti Patial. Gargi Tandon was selected to play in the Punjab State Table Tennis Tournament. In a separate CBSE Cluster XVIII Individual Table Tennis Championship, Gargi further excelled by securing a Bronze Medal and earning qualification for the CBSE National Championship, to be held in Vadodara, Gujarat. The school’s boys also delivered commendable performances in the Punjab Schools District Table Tennis Tournament while representing PAU Zone. Anshuman Aggarwal (U-19) and Ryan Bhatt (U-17) won Gold Medals, while Havish Arora (U-14) secured a Bronze Medal in their respective categories. Ryan Bhatt (U-17) and Havish Arora (U-14) were also selected to play in the Punjab State Table Tennis Tournament. Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, Chairman, Chain of Green Land Schools, along with Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, congratulated the students and their coach Mr. Harpreet Singh Jolly on their remarkable achievements and wished them continued success in their future sporting endeavours.

GREEN LAND STUDENT SHINE IN STATE BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP SELECTED FOR NATIONALS

Nitara Sharma a Class V student, of Green Land Sr. Sec. Public School, Jalandhar Bypass, Ludhiana showcased remarkable sporting talent at the Punjab State Badminton Championship, organised under the aegis of the Punjab Badminton Association (PBA) at Amritsar from 4th to 6th September 2026. She secured the Gold Medal in U-11 Girls Doubles and a Bronze Medal in U-11 Girls Singles. With this achievement, Nitara has been selected to represent Punjab at the National Championship, to be held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Dr. Rajesh Rudhra, Chairman, Chain of Green Land Schools, along with Principal Mrs. Baldeep Pandher, congratulated the student and her coach Ms. Sneha on her remarkable achievements and wished her continued success in the future sporting endeavours.
