Green Land Senior Secondary Public School celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Jayanti with heartfelt reverence and devotion. The students and staff came together to honor the profound teachings and legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru and founder of Sikhism. The program began with the Principal, teachers and students paying a special tribute to Guru Nanak Dev Ji, invoking his blessings and wisdom. Adding to the spiritual ambiance, the students performed a soulful Shabad Kirtan, filling the air with devotion and connecting everyone present to the spiritual essence of the occasion. Additionally, students recited poems and delivered heartfelt speeches, expressing their admiration and respect for Guru Nanak Dev Ji. A meticulously crafted PowerPoint presentation showcased key moments of Guru Ji's life and imparted his timeless teachings on Kirat karo, Vand chhako and Naam Japo. Through stories and visuals, students learned about the ideals of equality and universal brotherhood that Guru Nanak Dev Ji stood for, inspiring them to embody these values in their daily lives. The Chairman of the Chain of Green Land Schools, Dr Rajesh Rudra extended his greetings and emphasized the importance of following Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s path of love, kindness and equality. He encouraged the students to embrace these virtues to build a harmonious and compassionate society. The Principal Mrs Baldeep Pandher, in her address, conveyed the importance of following Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings. She encouraged the students to adopt values of kindness, honesty and humility in their lives, reminding them that these virtues are the foundation of a harmonious society.
